Pros

A high degree of autonomy is given by my manager, especially in instances where I am a subject matter expert. Mytech does a pretty good job promoting a culture of learning, which is extremely important in the IT industry. Company as a whole is very process oriented and has much more documentation of procedures than other companies of it's size and age.

Cons

Typical smaller company issues like and occasionally not having an approver at the office for physical signatures due to business travel.

Pros

I improved my skill set when I was here. It's something I always do no matter who my employer is.

Cons

There wasn't one but three reasons why I couldn't stick at MyTech for long. First, there were no growth opportunities for me. So, all the stressful and exhausting work I did was for nothing. Second, the compensation was ridiculous and not as per most people's expectations. Third, the client's expectations were insane. They were too arrogant to notice our hard work and wanted everything to be done yesterday.

Co-workers NOT management are good people. Other than that, nothing else good.

Cons

If you're considering employment with Mytech Partners, I would strongly advise against it. There are complaints about poor communication within the company, with some employees feeling left in the dark about important decisions, changes, or updates. We were always short because everyone leaving or being fired. You are treated like a second-class citizen and even though you're the subject matter expert, there is a constant struggle and you need to prove yourself daily. I still have nightmares sometimes of dealing with people at this place.
