Regular 40-hour work week (M-F), paid holidays, basic employee benefits, some opportunity for advancement.

Cons

No incentive or pay based on performance; annual raises are based on cost-of-living and are equal to 2% or less of current pay; chances for advancement or retaining employment favor seniority over productivity; management upholds a culture of being above hourly employees; no communication between departments, nor between management and employees; not a team atmosphere; company and management holds onto non lean or efficient practices instead of utilizing technology to improve productivity and waste reduction.
