Pros

If you are looking to work in sports, NASCAR is an exciting place to be right now. Lots of change going on from top down, and excellent people throughout the organization. Can be a lot of growth opportunity, depending upon your job. Solid benefits package.

Cons

Common to hear from most that compensation can be on the lower end of the range for entry level jobs, so hard to bring in new people. Hours can be tough at times as NASCAR has a long season.

Decent starting pay for area Talented and welcoming coworkers No micromanagement - need to be good at working on your own with minimal supervision Good amount of PTO

Cons

Pay increases are minimal Very little room for growth Expected to work weekends & nights in addition to normal 40hr week without equivalent compensatory time off.

Pros

NASCAR execs are willing to promote from within and reward hard work. Benefits are great and people really care.

Cons

There can be a lot of travel making it difficult to set boundaries. The culture, as everywhere, is if you have a cell phone, you are available. But again, that makes boundary setting less than ideal.
