Couldn't Pay Me To Go Back

Pros

It is a NBC owned and operated station, which came with minimal benefits. And they're now in a new station, which I hear is nice.

Cons

Management was vindictive and treated producers like second rate citizens. Photojournalists were abused and not given nearly enough resources or pay. Some on air talent was civil, but most acted superior and mighty. All in all, it was the worst place I've ever worked and you couldn't pay me enough to go back.

Pros

Smart and creative colleagues who are interested in growing the various broadcast and cable brands using new approaches and digital media.

Cons

Since the Comcast takeover, the company has become more bureaucratic and less nimble, making it harder to move swiftly in a rapidly-changing media environment.
