Stable job - good benefits and 401k. The name carries a lot of weight on a resume

Hard to move up unless you know the right people. Forget about trying to move from one department to another.

Pros

Decent hours, higher compensation than most media companies, lots of interesting and innovative projects to work on

Cons

Very political environment, senior leaders prefer to let groups battle it out amongst themselves rather than settle turf wars. Difficult to get buy in for projects because of so many fiefdoms and unknown "ownership" of initiatives
