Pros

Great Benefits, Daily communication between upper-management and employees via emails and meetings keeps everyone well informed.

Cons

Expect to work extremely long hours with no work/life balance. Promotions and raises are hard to come by. Negotiate a good salary before accepting the job. Too many meetings, hinders productivity. Too much bureaucracy, makes it difficult for change

Pros

Good co-workers, very hardworking group. Summer Fridays are great and other small perks.

Cons

Deadlines are unrealistic. It's expected that everyone work well into the night and weekends during busy times, which became more and more frequent the longer I was there.

Avoid NBC!

Pros

Pros? I guess it looks good on your resume. But that would be the only pro. Again the only pro.

Cons

Horrendous corporate culture, including the fact that managers are not allowed to give reviews for employees who have left. Also managers control internal transfers. You will not be able to go to another position in NBC unless your manager says so. NBC also takes advantage of the HR scam known as "Formal performance management" where you are evaluated on things that are not your job. But it makes HR feel like they are doing something. So to recap: Avoid NBC at all costs.
