Pros

Top caliber clients and exciting industry.

Cons

High burnout as people are being asked to do much much more with significantly less resources. On the lower side of the pay scale.

Thank you for sharing this feedback with us, it really is valued. We’ve been operating in a fast changing, dynamic market and sometimes this can mean we are busier than expected. We encourage a strong work life balance and mental health is extremely important to our values and culture. We provide a strong network of internal and external support for colleagues, that’s featured in regular communications to colleagues.

Pros

Absolutely non. The talent that NCC attracted have all moved on from this hell hole.

Cons

I wish I could offer a more positive perspective, but my experience at this company has been far from satisfactory. As a former employee, I feel it's important to provide an honest account of my time here. First and foremost, the lack of training provided by this organization is astounding. From day one, I felt thrown into the deep end without a life raft. The absence of proper onboarding and continuous learning opportunities has left me struggling to keep up and feeling utterly unsupported. It's disheartening to see how little investment is made in the professional growth of their employees. Speaking of growth, the overwhelming feeling at this company is one of stagnation. The potential for personal and career advancement seems nonexistent. Promotions are like mythical creatures, rarely seen and even harder to obtain. The lack of clear career paths and the absence of mentorship have resulted in a workforce trapped in a state of perpetual sameness. It's like being stuck in a time loop, watching the world move forward while we remain static. Now, let's address the CEO. There's really no better way to put it – the CEO's behavior and leadership style are nothing short of abhorrent. A term like "cunce" might seem harsh, but it's a fitting description for the sheer arrogance and disrespect displayed towards employees. The utter lack of empathy and understanding trickles down through the ranks, creating an environment where concerns are brushed aside and morale sinks to new lows. As for the culture, it can be summed up in two words: corporate yes collective. Dissent or critical thinking are clearly unwelcome here. It's as if the company is run by a cult of yes-men and yes-women who blindly follow the whims of leadership, even if it means ignoring glaring issues or detrimental decisions. This blind obedience stifles innovation and creates an atmosphere of conformity that is suffocating. And if things weren't dire enough, consider this: the company's share price has plummeted by a staggering 50%. This dramatic decline in value speaks volumes about the mismanagement and poor decision-making that plagues the organization. It's a glaring indicator of the company's downward spiral. And let's not forget the absurdity of outsourcing. Yes, you read that right – the company has resorted to outsourcing, a move that reeks of desperation and disregard for the talents of its own employees. This decision not only erodes trust but also further tarnishes the company's reputation. In conclusion, my time at this company has been a distressing journey through a landscape of inadequate training, stunted growth, toxic leadership, plummeting share prices, and bewildering outsourcing decisions. I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone seeking a fulfilling and supportive work environment. For those considering joining, I strongly recommend thinking twice and exploring other options that value employee development and individuality.

Thank you for taking the time out to share this feedback, while we don’t think your language and tone (e.g., advice to management) is ever justified, there are some points you raise that we want to address that may be helpful to other people reading this post. Our new leadership team has a breadth of experience from both inside and outside the cyber security industry and they are highly focused on executing our new business strategy that aims to build a healthy and resilient business that invests in training and creating exciting opportunities for its people. Our Manila office (we assume this is what you’re referring to when you talk about outsourcing?) is in addition to the existing global blend of delivery that we currently offer to clients (for example we have established teams in Spain and Waterloo, Canada, among many other locations) which means we can add capabilities and capacity to serve our clients around the globe.
