Pros

Nice coworkers Good office Reasonable hours

Cons

Coming in, I had a real belief for NCC's mission. It's a shame my manager is incredibly insecure to the point of micromanagement So many times have I come forward with viable solutions to inner problems, only to get hit with "not your concern" If you can't listen to the employees that interact with the market who are up close with customer challenges and objections, then the share price dropped 50% for a good reason Resignation...... inbound

Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. From what you have written it sounds as though you may have already tendered your resignation. If this is the case, we would be very grateful if you could speak to HR as part of an exit interview to candidly share your feedback about the management problems you are articulating. If you have not yet resigned, we would still welcome a conversation with you so that we can understand if this is a problem with a particular individual or part of a broader cultural problem in your team. In an organisation of our size, we can only look into and act on a situation when we know enough details. If you have already left the organisation, we would still welcome your reflections on your time in employment here and you can email us at talentattraction@nccgroup.com to discuss your concerns in confidence.

Pros

Some really nice people there but they are all under continuous stress, fear and frustration

Cons

I've worked in NCC for the most part of my career and I also played my part, a small one, in helping the company progress. I have experienced the company's rise under Cotton's leadership, the incredible momentum and morale, I've seen the fall that led Cotton's departure. I worked and flourished during Adam's leadership; a time where much of the lost ground was regained. But I was never ready to experience what came after this. Witnessing the company we will loved, collapsing, being defiled for absolutely no reason. Seeing the new management's decisions can only make you think whether they care in growing or killing the firm. I'm afraid it's past the point of no return now. The only positive is the fact that new companies emerge from NCC's ashes and will hopefully carry the flame. A new era has come.

Pros

Remote Work, some sane colleagues

Cons

an executive leadership team who base their strategy on trying to be Capita: reduce costs, reduce quality of work and burn employee morale and mental health to keep the lights on. sales people who simply say yes to get comission and drop continuous steaming piles on to the delivery teams offshoring of security work to countries with known corruption issues working with companies that are effectively intel gathering for hostile nation states telling employees "if you don't like it, leave" spewing fake reviews onto glassdoor in an attempt to balance out the reality and avoid telling the board how dangerously close to collapse the company is: reviews from people in regions with no staff, or with job titles that dont exist?? poor effort by HR to hide the truth

Thank you for your feedback – it’s clear that you left the business feeling disenfranchised. This is something we’d never want for our people. You have every right to your opinions but some of those you’ve presented here are inaccurate and we feel it’s right to address those points in this reply. Given the way you’ve expressed your concerns, it’s likely you were in a position in the business which was not privy to the robust processes which guide senior level decision-making. Due diligence forms a core part of those decisions, especially when they relate to the security of our business and clients – which goes right to the heart of our purpose. This includes planning for any new office locations around the world or the onboarding of new clients. As part of a normal cycle of continuous business review, we’ve been working to identify and reduce wasteful expenditure on ineffective and unnecessary systems and processes. And, in line with recent changes in market demands, we’re also working to realign our teams to ensure we continue delivering the best-in-class services our clients expect. It's normal during periods of change to receive a flurry of negative comments from colleagues who feel unsettled by the changes being proposed. However, we do not engage in fake reviews to dilute these and would never advocate for anyone breaching Glassdoor policy in such a manner; it’s more likely that colleagues have selected titles or locations which don’t exist to preserve their anonymity in relation to their pay.
