Pros

The people are the foundation of this place, or rather they were.

Cons

Where do I start, the new CEO Mike has shattered the foundations of NCC. What was once a very happy collaborative place is now a bitter collection of testers that are looking to jump ship. After our colleagues in the US were mercilessly cut including a pregnant woman the aura of NCC is stale. I believe that with the way this place is going it is only a matter of time before the talent jumps ship. The leadership did not offer voluntary redundancy so as to ensure the “right” people are kept. This will not be an option soon as most will look to leave.

Pros

Great exposure to a huge range of products & services within the Cyber market.

Cons

I have waited some months before writing this, to make sure it factual and non-emotional: - There is literally zero career progression, it doesn't mean this is a terrible place to work, but this needs to be remembered. - One of the key reasons for this is Success is never defined, or when it is, it is changed on a whim: 'be strategic, we want long term annuity deals' followed by 'why has the day to day run rate business dried up, sell more small deals'. It is not unusual for you to receive a Target &/or Accounts 5/6+ months into a year. - There are many layers of management mean communication is like Chinese whispers and getting a straight/timely answer is near impossible. Feedback is poor for the exact same reason making it hard to improve. - It is the very definition of an 'Old Boys Club' despite listing Diversity as a key value, the entire board bar 1 was a privately educated white male between c45-55. Who hire people in their own image, with whom they have worked with in the past for senior roles. - I dont particularly like singling individuals out as I think its a wider cultural problem where authority cannot be questioned and decisions are made behind close doors, however the UK/RoW MD is the driving force behind this and is a toxic influence on the business.

Pros

they will hire anyone. Go for an interview, you will get offered a job. They have free fruit and a nice office

Cons

they will lie about your pay, lie about your opportunity, and treat you like rubbish once you start. Mass reductions of staff, toxic culture, no clear direction or plan, all the good people leaving. Full of staff less than 6months in. If technical - the role is a mess, if sales - the commission scheme will rob you, if any other job function you will be supporting the previous two groups of unhappy people
