      Pros

      Pay is decent. Charting is all electronic. Nice to have meds stored in server in pt's rooms.

      Cons

      Worst management. No team work here. If your unit is short, don't expect any help from your nurse managers if you are working on rehab. The people in charge on Brookdale constantly badmouth all the employees. The manager is the worst gossip ever. Shares personal information with other employees that should never be shared.

      Pros

      Great people to work with- love the medical field - would rather a walk in clinic vs the hospital - generally more staffing DR in both facilities were for the most part great to work with.

      Cons

      Long hours, not enough staff especially on the overnight shift and when asking for another person to assist with coverage was told "if I did't like it there is always someone right behind me to take my job and I could quit." Not the kind of response you want to hear from your boss. Sometimes you just need extra qualified help to cover the volume of patients and to treat them with care and dignity.
