Pros

Balanced in every way. Structured enough to be a great place to grow your career, while also having a start up culture that encourages work-life balance. The CEO truly does care for each employee and has handled COVID tremendously.

Cons

Salary is lower than average, but the opportunity for quick growth, among other factors, make up for it.

Pros

NEOGOV is a unique organization in that it's mature, stable, and a market leader but it functions with all the speed, entrepreneurial opportunities, and excitement as a high-growth startup. The leadership team is phenomenal and diverse, with different backgrounds and experiences. They are open and very approachable. The product is solid. Certainly some growing pains with their newest acquisition/product line, but all in all very stable and modern products. One of the best things about NEOGOV is the mission/vision - the CEO frequently talks about the goal of NEOGOV to lower race/sex gaps in hiring processes.

Cons

There seems to be some friction between legacy employees (5+ years) and newer employees. It's not uncommon to hear "we've always done it this way". Also, some dismiss other's opinions if they don't have a background in HR or Gov't work. Not a big problem, but definitely noticeable. The entire exec team comes from other industries, so this is slowly fading away. Leadership can jump to conclusions with limited data or feedback. They hear one comment from one person about at issue, and then spend countless resources attempting to address.
