Pros

Surrounded by other cool people. Can finish a lot of work.. Sometimes we got a free burger.

Cons

No culture, work 80+ hours a week. Some management seem to know what they are doing with work, but don't know a thing about how to run teams, keep morale high, tell the truth, show integrity. Many people that started out with these projects have moved on. Work way too much, no real frills at all, and the expectations are rediculous. It is an unhappy environment. Wish it wasn't, but the burn out rate is unbelieveable.

Pros

It's a really down to earth group. The "artists' colony" of the National Football League. The intern program is a total blast, but it's a shame they can not provide any compensation. Either way, I think most of the people who participate would say they are glad they did it. I do not think a large percentage of the people were hired from the program, but then again, a lot of interns had to go back for at least one more year of school after completing the summer. I would definitely recommend doing the internship, but plan to be broke!

Cons

Definitely the lack of payment is the hardest part. Even something as simple as free lunch or help with gas payment (especially these days where a gallon of gas costs two hundred billion dollars), and especially since so many young college students have to completely relocate for the summer to work there. It's not for lack of trying though... the intern coordinators are major proponents of at least a little bit of compensation. The fact that you can wear shorts and flip flops and tee shirts every day though is a huge plus -- maybe even enough to forgive working for free!
