Pros

I really enjoy working with my colleagues. We may be a small team, but we’re a mighty one. Our culture is strong amoung the team— we get the work done, support each other, and genuinely enjoy working together. Even when our senior leader dynamics get a little chaotic, we navigate it as a team and keep things moving forward.

Cons

We’re in the office five days a week, with very little flexibility. Some leaders allow more flexibility for their teams, while others allow almost none. At the last all-hands, the Commissioner encouraged everyone to enjoy the At the same time, our SVP remains highly focused on physical presence in the office rather than on outcomes, development, or shaping the department for the next level of strategic impact. We need to shift toward valuing results, innovation, and leadership growth if we want our culture — and our teams — to thrive
