Mission, small teams, work/life balance.

Cons

Really poor compensation and management. Not a meritocracy, some people shouldn't be managers there.

Pros

A lot of nice friendly people. Good mission if you care about that. Every team is able to their own thing that works for them. Possible room for career growth

Cons

Every team is able to do their own thing so there is no consistency across teams. There can be room for career growth but only if you push for it. Pay is low for the market because they claim people are doing it for the mission. They claim to be a progressive company but rarely implement progressive ideas for benefits and compensation.
