      Great place to work, sad it was sold to Tyler Tech

      Pros

      Loved the work, loved the people! We ran on AWS and the software being developed was exciting and new! So sad to leave when the company was sold. I wish it hadn't been and I'd still be there!

      Cons

      Being sold to Tyler Tech and leaving NIC employees holding the bag. We all took smaller salaries b/c the benefit package was so amazing. Unfortunately, Tyler Tech didn't part their lips about making it right and people have been jumping ship left and right.

      * Mostly bad ppl who cut others to safeguard their positions and roles * Cutthroat culture * Resistance for change * Unprofessional management/leaders

      Short-sighted company that only values developers for speed of completion.
