Pros

Fast paced with really strong benefits and interesting work. Corporate culture is strong and positive, and especially during this pandemic, feel indebted to NIC for regular communication about the status of the company, and the fact that all jobs in the company have been retained. I feel good about coming to work every day here, and feel I am part of a company that plays things straight and fair. I'll also say that I really enjoy working with government entities, as the work is always new and interesting. One thing I really enjoyed was the company flew almost 100 employees to Las Vegas last year to run a nighttime marathon - and we raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for St. Jude Children's Hospital in the process! Overall, this is just a really nice place to work.

Cons

It is fast paced and somewhat lean - for me this is a positive, but for some may put out of comfort zone.
