- Good health insurance and 401k - Can be an easy place to work if you’re not on the tech side

Cons

- Below average compensation (corporate is in Kansas and that informs their perception of cost of living and market rates) - Pervasive attitude of wanting to build things quickly by whatever means necessary (hacking through many-years-old code from other portals or clones of things your own portal was rushed to build years prior). - No corporate support in the form of productization. They rarely take any code and package it for reuse by other portals, so every portal has to waste time building its own version of (or haphazardly cloning) something 8 others have already built. - Leadership content to be a “build shop” and take a back seat on vision - Frequently had to work nights and weekends - “Keep the client happy” mentality allowed to derail projects and degrade quality of work
