At Actimize we fight financial crime; that's a mission that is easy to wholeheartedly support. The environment is fast paced and our employees are some of the best at what they do. In Professional Services the work life balance ebbs and flows, as in any IT shop. It depends on the projects that you're assigned to and the phase that they're in. Because of the nature of being a software vendor, we have interactions with many different clients and in that respect it's akin to working at a consulting firm. Actimize is generous with employees including contests and gifts. We receive very nice holiday gifts which vary each year. Employees win contests and receive nice prizes including trips. Human Resources is focused on the employees and are responsive to employee's needs. The compensation at Actimize is fair. The benefits package is comprehensive. Because of the size of Actimize there are many potential opportunities to grow both within groups or by transferring to other groups.

Cons

As a vendor implementing software for various clients, there can be periods of time when work hours are long. But that's commonplace in IT and it's not a permanent situation.
