Philosophy: Hire good people and get out of their way to perform their best, positive numbers are just an outcome then. Culture: Culture: A bunch of people got together and created an environment for people; how they themselves would like to be treated. Vision/Mission: Empower people and they will achieve everything for everyone

Cons

It is "matrix reloaded": too many processes and policies have created a system which is overpowering the human touch of doing things. Wish it could be turned around before we even have an artificial SUN in there :)

Since you seem to have loved the company and the work culture, it would have been a good idea to have sought a role change! We have many career growth opportunities in NIIT and especially in a place like Delhi/Gurgaon which is where the company is head quartered. Most long-term NIITians in the company have been growing due to role changes across functions, domains and geographies; made possible thanks to the multi-business, multi-geo profile of the company. For trainer profiles, there are many training delivery options in the corporate learning business in India and Overseas, remote training outsourced roles in the Managed Training Services practice, Content design & development practice and in our technology and s/ware organization. If trainers want to move into other domains, those options are also available. We actively encourage Internal Job Postings and believe in job rotation as a method of talent development and enhancing performance.
