Pros

Benefits better than average, salaries are fair (to market), offices are clean, courses available to those that see work as a career (not just a job) and management seems to be preparing for future not living in past.

Cons

Some coworkers want to live in the past and struggle with the changes. Management needs to better communicate its plans for the future. Lots of changes over the past few years. Makes one question what changes are coming.

Run Away As Fast As You Can

Pros

None. Pay is far below average and now it has been capped so there is no incentive. Benefits were excellent but will be changing in the New Year. New cafeteria is fair...selections are limited and prices have increased. Management is the worst you can imagine. The only style is micromanagement. Professional employees are treated like children and give no respect. NJM is a path of self destruction. All the money placed in new marketing strategy is a little to late to save the company. Supervisors and upper management need to wake up and smell the roses. Allow your employees to work in a up to date environment, like from home, smart phones and without being watched like a child. NJM got to be a great company because the hard work and dedication of all employees and management needs to realize this. Imagine what NJM would be if the employees were happy.

Cons

Low pay, fair benefits and cafeteria. Parking is a nightmare!!!! Management on all levels is unbelievable and needs major clean up. No sure NJM can be saved.

Great company but needs changes

Pros

The benefits are the best, PTO & retirement plans are great. Good pay & raises are generous. The companies involvement with the community is great.

Cons

Need to relax the dress code, departments are micromanaged. Needs flexible hours & work from home options. Understanding that changes have to be gradual and they are running a business it would be nice to see changes happen quicker. Attempts are made to make the employee feel appreciated but not often enough. People respond better when they feel they have flexibility rather than no options at all.
