      Good working conditions with well kept facilities. Company emphasizes ongoing employee development, job performance and safety training.essential in a heavy manufacturing environment.

      Cons

      Highly political organization with a strong cover-your-ass mentality. Way to much cronyism & nepotism. Longer term staff caught up in VARCO culture and resistant to National Oilwell influence.

      Pros

      Work Life Balance, Laid Back workplace, Good resume filler or coast to retirement option.

      Cons

      Good Old Boy Mentality, unqualified people get promoted all the time, it's all about who you know, not what you know. Management changes direction depending on who is at the helm, leads to a chaotic environment with constant change. Processes are not well defined and on the job training can be disorganized, which creates levels of employees who are completely unaware of how things are supposed to work. This creates a very disorganized and reactive environment. Company knowingly pays lower than market rate due to the prime location.

      Management by temper tantrum is not only accepted, but rewarded. Verbal abuse is common.
