Pros

Standard benefits package and retirement plan, before the down turn there used to be things like tuition reimbursement and extra curricular training available (six sigma, management classes, etc) Also work was steady and somewhat hectic, great for taking home bigger checks. Whether you like working here will come down to the management you end up working for.

Cons

Too much of a buddy system involved at all levels. Serious and thoughtful ideas for improvements or advancement of the product or processes aren't considered or supervisors/managers actually drop you from the loop and pass your ideas off as their own. Not really a place for the majority to find a career unless you're part of that buddy circle.

Pros

Benefits are great and a lot of good people front line supervisors and below. Flexibility if your supervisor likes you.

Cons

Very political on the mid management level and up. If you are not in the click you will not get to that level and if you rub anyone the wrong way on that level and above you can quickly go from friend to foe. Still a lot of nepotism at some of the facilities. Some divisions are run better than others. Lacks diversity in mid level management positions and higher.
