      Overall a good company, Just don't rock the boat

      Pros

      Good company, with an incredible Engineering Group, that strives for High Quality and On Time Deliveries. A great group of employees for the most part, and they have a great equipment base. With the right guidance they could produce product with an extremely high level of quality.

      Cons

      Management gets in the way most of the time, they ask for your opinions, then do it there way. NONE of the managers actually has any training in the areas that they control, so the people in charge of manufacturing has no clue of how to machine parts. They spend more time doing rework of discrepant parts, instead of fixing the problem. Very hard to advance in the company unless you are a yes man. Compensation - trying to run a California company on Texas wages

      Pros

      Job was good. As a project manager I worked Monday thru Saturday and enjoyed coming to work. I saw a lot people who worked hard and where very helpful when asked.

      Cons

      Many employees had been there a long time. 35 plus years. They were very resistant to new ideas. Over time was expected as part of the regular income. Any ideas that reduced OT were regularly shot down.
