Pros

This is a great, fun company to work for if your immediate boss is a decent person. It's based in entertainment and there are a lot of local people and famous people you can meet through a position in this company. Hours can be flexible if your boss is. A great place to get a start in radio

Cons

The top management can be very selfish. You will get a visit from the big boss who will tell you (and everyone else) "Thank you for everything that you do" when she has no idea what you do or who you are. People get replaced with the stroke of an axe. One day you're working for one person, the next, someone else. People who are doing well get fired and replaced with middle-management's friends.

Pros

Locally, people are pleasant to work with. Decent healthcare benefits. Local markets have a good amount of autonomy. Relaxed atmosphere most of the time.

Cons

CHEAP. Will not spend money on needed equipment or resources to create an environment to be the best or for employees to succeed.. Pay is *ridiculously* low unless you work for corporate. A lot of nepotism in Cedar Rapids, and management is totally focused on coddling sales staff while over-exploiting and taking unfair advantage of production and technical staff. Raises are virtually non-existent, and corporate lacks focus by just following the Next Big Trend. Great at issuing mandates without providing employees olutions or resources to meet them.

Pros

New company feel with desire to expand as well as focus their markets. Standardization of equipment allowed sharing experience between markets as well as programming.

Cons

Sometimes hard to break through communication to all levels at the same time. Especially when it is hard to keep continuity. Scheduling difficulties between different climate zones led to some dangerous situations.
