Pros

The local branch manager was amazing but the role they had me under had me reporting to others in different states and timezones who where overwhelmed with being in a leadership position they were obviously not ready for.

Cons

Disorganized leadership, lack of transparency from the top down, wouldn't allow WFH even though my job did not require me to be in the office.

Pros

-NSC management got to know you personally if you were in the home office. -They had a business casual dress code. -

Cons

-NSC always wanted to you work beyond your job description, and by that I mean people would constantly be filling in for one another, traveling on short notice, and learning new skills that would normally qualify you for a promotion without promoting you. -NSC, in my opinion, did not do enough promoting from within. For upper management jobs, there were plenty of people that were very loyal to the company who would want to fill open positions, but they seemed to hire more outsiders.

Pros

Paid on a weekly basis

Cons

NO benefits for the first 60 days; not available for the 401(k) for 6 months. Even after you are eligible for benefits, you pay the full premiums. You just get the benefit of being in a group program. No paid time off - If the client celebrates holidays, you will NOT work and NOT get paid! NO job security. The company is a staffing agency and just hires bodies. Once they hire you, you are not important to them. They want at least 2 weeks notice, but they will not give that to you.
