Pros

Company somehow has a solid reputation, so use it as a stepping stone to something better.

Cons

If you want to remain stagnant in your career while unqualified individuals who are friends with management are promoted above you, this is the perfect place for you. Do not expect to be rewarded for hard work, you will only be judged on appearances and who you befriend.

Pros

Feels like you are working towards the mission if you are in the right areas. Average pay and good benefits, although costs have increased over the years

Cons

Sr. managers are basically scientists that have been with the company for a long time. This leads to lack of business acumen and keen decision making ability. Acts like a for profit company wearing a non-profit costume.
