Pros

You are not overly micro managed. You have flexibility in schedules, that's about it.

Cons

No growth, they use you and put you back on the street. They preach that there is company culture but I doubt they even have a clue what culture means. This is not a fun place to work at. They hire in the masses only to dispose of them when they're done with you, a lot like a paper plate. Managers pick their favorite pets who are "so called" good performers, when all they're doing is forging work and throwing stuff up in the ceiling hoping stuff sticks and gets over looked. They don't do much for employee appreciation other they give away mediocre gift cards if you're lucky enough to have your name drawn out of the jar. They don't hire a proper cleaning staff to clean the break room and expect the employees to take turns cleaning. They never do anything for employee appreciation and could care less if the morale goes stale. People walk around like zombies and lifeless cause they know it's a matter of time before they get cut. They claim they get new projects and hardly ever do, at least anything note worthy to guarantee you a job and keep you from getting cut and put on the street. Instead of transferring their experienced folks internally, they hire new employees to fill in those roles possibly leaving you on the street if you're not a favorite of theirs. When it comes to decision making for promotions they're not really interested in getting to know people for their experience and are more interested in folks who "appear smart" and are completely unfit for the role. They like to promote kids that just got out of school and put them into management to lead team member who can run circles around them and 10x's more experience in the work field. So if you're under 25years old and are willing to go out to bars with the managing consultants you may get promoted and this may be the place for you, at least for the duration of the project cause you may end up on the street along with everyone else. This is basically a glorified temp agency that tries to pass for a legit consulting company like your big 4 i.e KMPG, Deloitte, Ernst & Young. Truth is this company hires people who were probably cleaning toilets the week prior and trains them up to just clicking on certain auto scripts buttons like a monkey and rely on tools that proof read your work, followed by another tool that checks the other tool's work, so essentially letting the tools do all the work while you click on auto script buttons. If you want a real job that cares about you stay away from this place.

Pros

Salary is good and work-life balance is good. Sometime long working hours, which is normal in any companies. Manager driven policies.

Cons

1. Immigration team is the worst department. they dont reply to your email, they dont pick up calls. They dont inform you even if your immigration status is in danger. They dont copy concerned employee in any email, they only send mails to managers. 2. Green card policy is after 9 months, but they dont apply till last year of your h1. They will apply only if you are needed for the management. 3. External recruiters tell that if H1B fails (RFE or rejection), you will be posted at offshore. But that never happens. If your H1 is in problem, then they will lay you off directly. 4. External recruiters make a lot of promises on location transfer, projects, green card etc etc. But once you join, they dont even pick up your call. If you ask your manager about those promises, they will say they are not aware of those. 4. Once you are on bench, the GRM team only tells that you will be laid off after 2 paid weeks. They dont even try to place you in any project. They will try for 1 or 2 projects, but in case you dont crack the interview (may be skill set mismatch), they dont even try for next one. 5. A lot of policy exists but only on papers. They are not applied even in employee's worst situation.

Pros

Work from home. Independence to determine how best to do your job.

Cons

Poor management, indecisiveness, bad compensation plan. No real plan on how best to compete with other SI's in this cloud, application-centric world we now live in. We are also so inept at the basic blocking and tackling things any SI should be good at - ease of which to do business with, turning around accurate quotes, timely processing of orders and accurately invoicing our clients. We don't do any of this well at all and our clients are firing DD as a result.
