Good place to start off Learn the very basics

Cons

This company will hire to fire and does not pay well. If you are desperate for GIS work then its an okay place to work but I would start looking for something bette ASAP. They do not care for you so you should not care for them, I was told one day I was doing a great job and I would be receiving a raise next month and then was laid off with 40 others with no warning the next week. The work is also very unfulfilling and work culture is not good at all. The CEO also loved to pander to the lower workers and is very unprofessional and incompetent. I would avoid at all costs.

1. Merit-based career trajectory. Might be a con for some, but I've seen promotions and raises assigned based on the value you provide the company. 2. I have a good team, I'm sure there are teams that aren't as great, but I like working with mine. 3. The company rewards being an entrepreneur- get more projects from your current clients, find new clients. 4. We've had very good work-life-balance. As long as our clients are happy and we're making money, nobody bothers us about WLB. 5. Flexible WFH schedule. I know this is a team-by-team situation and not everyone enjoys this. If you interview, ask your interviewer about their policy.

401k Match - Garbage FTO Policy - Garbage Rolling Bonus Vesting Period - Garbage I used to see a fair amount of nepotism; I don't notice it much anymore.
