      Pros

      Flexibility from within the business side of things allowed me to still do some engineering for demos, and work with people throughout the company. It's possible to work with some incredibly impressive people from all backgrounds within engineering, academia, and Silicon Valley.

      Cons

      Projects and demos get cancelled, postponed, and reborn. All of this occurs at the "Speed of Light", which can be jarring internally, or disrupt external partners.
