Pros

The job pays well for being a full-time seasonal job. Offers holiday pay. Relatively easy work.

Cons

It takes up your whole summer. However, if this does not bother you, then this would be a great job opportunity.

Pros

This is a job where you don't have to compromise your principles. The cause is good. The work can be interesting. There is lots of time off and the benefits are well-above average (great healthcare plan, an actual pension plan, etc).

Cons

The pay is average. There is almost no room for advancement (even if you are motivated) and consequently no incentive to work extra hard. This results in a lot of deadwood that, due to civil service rules, will sit around until retirement.

Pros

Interesting, independent project management, but also had the resources of a team to help.

Cons

To much travel involved, especially to NYC.
