At this point it is hard to find many pro's as the department refuses to hear employee concerns.

Cons

The Human Resources Department continue to have "vaccine spotlights" to try and convince unvaccinated employees to get the vaccine. At this point, most of the department has gotten the vaccine. These vaccine spotlights are employees sharing deeply personal and emotionally distressing personal stories that are essential trying to guilt and pressure employees that haven't got the vaccine. It would be much more effective for managers of those employees to have one on one conversations versus pressuring and disengaging the rest of the department. The team has shared this with leadership multiple times but they refuse to listen. I have now heard of fellow employees that's parents have died, that they have almost died and it's incredibly inappropriate and overly personal. One employee literally talked about the movie Outbreak and I Am Legend, embarrassing and not how I would expect a healthcasre organization to operate.

To help our employees and their loved ones make an educated decision, we continue to share the latest news and research on the Covid-19 vaccine. Many members of the HR team have received the vaccine and volunteered to share their experiences with their colleagues. In addition, managers speak one-on-one with their staff to discuss the vaccination process and provide additional support. The Covid-19 vaccine is a very important and personal decision. We encourage you to speak with your manager if you have any questions or concerns related to the Covid-19 vaccine.

- great coworkers - beautiful new hospital

Cons

-they make it seem like an amazing places for nurses, in reality - nurses are pushed aside as well as patient's safety in order to save money - doing away with SDU and completely changing around units, nurses are getting displaced - doctors are disrespectful and ungrateful - difficult to grow - poor communication from management in all levels - cares about growth and how the world views them rather than how their employees are treated
