1) good environment 2) great Hikes 3) Great CEO 4) Different technologies you can work upon

Cons

1) multiple building , Hard to Travel 2) onsite opportunities are very less and stick to some specific people.

Dear colleague, "Great CEO"! Made my day. Thanks for the vote of confidence. I am trying to learn how to keep in touch with all my colleagues and also to keep the company pointed in the right direction as we grow rapidly. We do have many buildings, ranging from small ones to big ones, because of this same fast growth. Our latest building(s) are much larger and will help us to consolidate. We are also planning a campus in Gurgaon. We do have onsite opportunities but since we are typically doing a lot more than onsite staffing, these may be relatively fewer than in some companies. I do think we could run a program to convince our customers that more onsite rotation is good for understanding, trust and morale. Will keep this in mind. Thanks for writing here. Best regards, Manas

Pros

Flexible working environment (depends on the project and the manager of course) Balanced work culture. Good environment for learning new technologies. Coolest events organized by the company for the employees

Cons

Project allocation is not based on the technical skills of an employee. Ratings given by the managers are totally dependent on how they personally feel about you but not on technically capabilities and the talent. Interviews for promotions: An employee is given quarterly ratings, these ratings theoretically represents how an employee is performing throughout an year, why are these ratings not considered as the criteria for promotion and how a person due for his/her promotion can be judged in merely half hour interview.

Dear colleague, Thanks for the constructive and detailed feedback. We have homegrown HR systems but they need an overhaul. We have a new HRMS system coming online in a few months and hopefully occasional issues like the one you mention will be a thing of the past. A lot of thought is going into creating a unique but robust type of HR that works for a unique company like Nagarro. We have our brightest mind, the erstwhile VP Technology, leading HR today :-) and that is not by accident. Thanks again. Best regards, Manas

Pros

Very good for freshers and employees with <5 years of experience in technology group. Can work in variety of domains, help people understand and experience different domains.

Cons

Managers here, sometimes, play games and blame technical team in case something goes wrong. Try to defend your team and take ownership. Quality Assurance team: No good if you are in QA. Will always be considered as second class citizens.

Dear colleague, Thanks for your feedback and advice. We have been trying to make sure we don't hire any "non-deserving candidates" as you mention. I personally meet all Director+ level candidates, for example, before we make an offer to them. Sometimes though we make a mistake and overestimate the fit. I can't promise we won't make mistakes any more but I can promise we will get better. We do realize the importance of middle management being in sync with the company stands for. We have some good ideas on how to improve this - some BUs have already taken a few bold steps in that direction. Regarding QA, what you say is about to change. We have a few offers out to senior quality people and we may also acquire a company in this space. We are serious about this topic.
