Thank you for taking the time to leave a review here on Glassdoor (even though it is a brief one). Let me leave a quick note about the scattered campus in Gurgaon - this is something that we are going to address in the coming years. The newest building that has opened up has a very large capacity and the next step from that is to put together a campus where we can consolidate. It is important to understand that the reason for a 'scattered' campus is the fast growing nature of Nagarro. Although, I hardly see it as scattered (since all buildings are less than 10 minutes from each other on a bicycle). Once again, thank you for your time.

Pros

Good Ambience. Some projects are good. Some onsite opportunities.

Cons

Some projects are not worth working for. Managers not willing to stand up against the client for some illogical requirements. Politics up to a certain level. CTC structure.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a feedback. This feedback is very important for us and helps us improve. I, of course, disagree with your opening statement (saying this with a smiley) - we are a great and fast growing company with an awesome outlook. But we have our problems, one (obviously) being that we are not able to maintain a work environment where you also feel the same way. Let me talk about the quality of projects. There will always be projects which are less exciting than others (it is the nature of the industry, isn't it). But most of the work we do is highly exciting. The less exciting ones are still going to have learning opportunities far greater than what is normal in the industry. Managers not being able to negotiate with the clients can happen and is an individual trait of the manager. This is something that we try to keep an eye on through our governance frameworks. It is definitely not the norm for the company - and this can happen anywhere. If this is happening too often then you should discuss this with your manager or even reach out to the delivery management or BU leadership so that they can help. Politics has no place at Nagarro - it is one of the reasons we want to maintain such a flat organization structure. You are able to just reach out all the way to the CEO if you feel that there are unfair practices in play at Nagarro. At a minimum, if you see this happening, reach out to HR to report this. Also keep in mind, sometimes lack of a bigger picture can make situations seem fishy - so sometimes it is simpler to just ask more questions from the parties concerned. I was under the impression that we had resolved all the concerns that people had with the CTC through the changes we made a couple of months ago. I am surprised that it is still concerned a con. I would like to know what more can be improved in the CTC. You can reach out to HR to discuss this in more detail. Finally, not sure why you feel that we are not getting good work. You should check out on Yammer about the announcements of new customers and projects. We are getting some of the most cutting-edge work and projects there are. This also means that we need to do a better job at evangelizing some of this information within the company. Once again, thank you for your time in leaving a feedback here.

Thank you for taking the time to provide such a detailed feedback for Nagarro. I, of course, agree with all the pros that you have presented. You have captured them well. Let me focus my response on the cons and the advice to management sections. Work-life balance is a tricky topic. And I would gladly meet you in person and discuss this with you. In my opinion, work-life balance needs to be measured over longer duration and not week-by-week or month-by-month. Our data and surveying of the employees suggest that on average no one spends more than 50 hours a week in the office. At the same time, you may be in a project going through a tough phase where you are spending 70-80 hours a week. That can happen. It is the nature of the industry we work in. Yes, we have a lot of new people joining us. And yes, it takes a while before they understand and adopt the culture that we have at Nagarro. I urge you not to let that put you off. We are doing a number of things to get new people to understand what our culture is. Agile doesn't also mean a lack of processes :) - having said that, I can assure you that if you compare the processes followed at Nagarro, they are some of the most lightweight processes around. We are on the constant lookout for making sure that there isn't too much bureaucracy in our processes (whether software development processes or organizational processes). Sometimes we are behind the curve a little, but we always catch up. If you notice something that you think can be improved, you should suggest the improvement to the process team or HR. The A2FS ratings being delayed is a problem that is currently being addressed very aggressively. I agree that the ratings are delayed (though not maliciously, as in no one is trying to take advantage, they are just not paying enough attention). Also, I agree that these should be monthly. But let's get some discipline going for the quarterly ones first. You should know that we are working on it right now. We can talk for ages about compensation models. For now, it should suffice that Nagarro's increments today at least are more than most companies in our industry. Once again, thank you for such a detailed feedback. If you have more feedback or suggestions, please do not hesitate to reach out to senior management or HR (even if your new manager gets offended).
