Thank you for your review. I would like to address your concern about Quality Associates. Since client-site deployment is a function of the needs of a project in most cases, it is not always under our control. There are still opportunities, but, you are right, they are lesser than other roles. I would assume it is no less in terms of percentage than most other companies. With regards to the growth curve, we strongly feel that we need to accelerate the learning for people in the Quality track. This is being worked upon currently through formation of a dedicated center of excellence for Quality and through increased focus on advanced training in this area. You should see some improvement in both these in the next few months. I recommend that you should reach out to our Process and Quality leadership to learn more about what we are doing.

Pros

- Extremely beneficial for technology freshers - Top notch talents in software engineering - Wide array of technologies to learn - Learning of an individual is considered a priority

Cons

- Extremely poor work life balance - Very strict 'school like' work environment - Not very good infrastructure and facilities (At least for now) - Ratings and appraisals are not transparent and even biased sometimes - No flexibility to choose technology/department/project - Weak top level management - Poor employee retention - No incentives for overtime or extra efforts

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review and provide such detailed feedback. The pros are all areas that we consider important. Let me try to address some of the cons. With respect to flexibility in choosing technology and department, you should reach out to HR. Our culture has always been that of providing opportunities to everyone with regards to their career paths. Choosing a project on the other hand is not always possible - though even there you can try to raise a project change request. With respect to poor employee retention, I am surprised to see that you have this impression. Our employee retention is one of the highest in the industry for a company our size. Not only do we retain our employees, we also have a decent rejoining rate for people who leave. About transparency in ratings and appraisals, this is something that is being made very systematic - the new appraisal system makes the rating process fairly transparent. Transparency in how we do things is very important for us; this is one aspect that you should see improve continuously. We are a very fast growing organization and sometimes things may take a little while to catch up. But our heart is in the right place, so whenever you feel that there are things amiss, you should reach out to senior management and convey your impressions. It will help us improve.

Thank you for leaving this review. We pride ourselves on our client centricity, our flat and open culture, and our affinity to technology. I am happy to see that you have experienced all these. As we are growing (which is quite fast), we are spending more and more thought and time towards ensuring standardization and transparency of policies and processes. You should see continuous improvement in this area. If you would like to bring up specific examples, please feel comfortable in reaching out to anyone in the management or HR teams.
