Pros

Salary Structure- you can save as much as 1 lakh tax with the salary structure offered by Nagarro Annual Appraisals

Cons

1. Worst part is, Project allocation process. I guess you can find this con in almost every review, but this is something the management is very proud of and they are not ready to accept that they need to start making changes to the process. 2. You don't get to choose which technology you want to work on. They will give you projects on old technologies and when it comes to appraisals or promotion, they want you to be a champion in latest technologies. 3. HR's understanding of technology: For HR, if you are a .NET resource, you should know everything i.e. React Angular, Microservices, Web API, Desktop development, Web Dev, Mobile Dev, Multi threading, just everything.... 4. They were the first to start pay-cut with an excuse that they do not want to fire people, which was fine. I even volunteered for an extra pay-cut to support the organisation, since I had been working for Nagarro for more than 5 years, had received pretty decent appraisals during my tenure, was even nominated for H1B visa. But I did one mistake, I couldn't clear one client interview since client wanted somebody with hands on experience in Multi threading and desktop application and I had always worked on web apps only. I received a call from the HR, that they can only offer a single project opportunity and they will need to review if I was a good fit for Nagarro. That call scared me and made me look out for more opportunities. So yeah, one good thing happened here, they gave me a heads up that I should look out for some back-up. I found an opportunity and resigned before they asked me to do so. On second last day, a mail from the CEO popped up in every Nagarrian's inbox, that there is such news of firings going on in the market and was fake and I was very surprised to see that.

Thanks for your feedback. About the mail from the CEO :-) I explicitly wrote in that email that we continue to make performance-based terminations in an initiative that predates Covid.

Pros

Average Manual work. No other Pros

Cons

No prospects for automation engineers. Automation engineers are being offered manual projects by giving them false hopes of future automation work. QA engineers are looked down upon in the company. Top Management is overlooking these problems. He promotes incompetent people at top level. All the work is done by couple of people and he takes away all the credit. He wants his flattery all the time. People with good QA skills are getting ignored and people who don't wish to work are getting opportunities at critical positions under his leadership. "Good Attitude" is not the only criteria which should be considered while recruiting a candidate which apparently is the only criteria for him. What will you expect out of a candidate if she lacks basic knowledge of QA?
