Transparency problems

Pros

Flexibility in timings Opportunity to grow for developers

Cons

Lack of transparency and loopholes in various processes like quarterly feedbacks, appraisals, resource management, project allocation, etc. As in any other general indian IT company, a worker will continue to work and is continuously overloaded with work with less value being given, while favourite enjoys benefits. Smart people will do toughest things with ease and many times no body gets to know the underlying expertise because it happened without chaos. In general the managers are delivery focused and do not have much inside idea. Salary r not good anymore

Pros

Focus on learning new technologies Flexibility for work hours which helps manage schedule Gives stability and does not believe in hire and fire concept

Cons

Lack of processes and they keep changing without making employees fully aware of them Fixed bid projects are often signed to get a new customer without fully understanding the business. This adds a lot of pressure to the delivery team when new scope is continuously unearthed and also leads to an aggravated/dissatisfied customer in the end. There is no performance improvement plan designed for employees. Employees with poor performance easily escape by putting project change requests and there is not much that HR does to solve the root problem but change the project as a short term solution. This is not good in long term for company as well as employee

Pros

Company is growing Except HR, Resourcing...People are well approachable

Cons

No personal life Bosses take advantage of pathetic weekend policy. You are compensated zero leave credit when you work on sat or Sunday, while with a single leave credit when you work on both sat and sun..Just really bad. So your boss will make you work on atleast Saturday I.e. no benefits or compensation to employee Less transparent policies Favoritism prevails HR should be more responsive and responsible towards the employees

Dear colleague, Thanks for your post! I take it you were employed in Gurgaon or Jaipur. Let me look into this weekend policy you speak of. I wasn’t aware of it. What I do know is that the percentage of people working on weekends is very small. Typically we shut down all our other 4-5 buildings and keep just one open, and even there just a couple of floors. But I’ll check this aspect you raise. I’m really sad that this appears to have made you rather unhappy. Best regards, Manas
