Pros

Centrally located. Leader in the industry. Decent pay. Room for growth.

Cons

Minimal benefits. Very little vacation, personal time and holidays. No employee recognition program. Minimal communication from senior management about future plans for the organization. No job postings, although I have been promoted twice in my career thus far at Nassau.

Pros

None. There is money to be made....in everything. Be sure to enjoy what you are doing, what you are working towards, and who you are working for.

Cons

Everything. It is very poorly managed. Unfair treatment of employees. Administration has no general respect of new employees. Horrible training practices, if any training is given at all. Hard work is not appreciated. It is very unprofessional. The owners practically yell at each other. There's no room to grow in this company. It's a dead end. The administration isn't leaving any time soon, although they should've been fired years ago considering they don't even look up from their desk when new employees have a question.

Pros

Being able to work in a newer renovated building as oppose to the old, dingy one where the factory still is and the mice play.

Cons

An email was sent out to all employees by the HR Dept urging employees to write reviews after receiving a negative review from a past "disgruntled employee." It's funny how the 5-star, upbeat, cheery, positive advertisement-like reviews pop up after each 1-star review. Clearly HR is told to monitor this site as they are told to monitor job sites for the resumes of current employees so the employees can be confronted and intimidated by the owner to take their resume down. Don't be fooled.
