Pros

The company offers stability along with bonus in the form of shares. Growth depends on your visibility and manager backing. Like all big corporates this one too is filled with slow management and low engagement but somehow this is a great place to start a career but not one where you should stay long especially if you are in any kind of operations role where work is repetitive and not in demand in the market.

Cons

The company is now following its peers (India Head says so) which is 50% WFO which will be increased to 60% or more by end of 2026. The flexibility which NatWest was known for is coming to an end. No. of employees doing actual meaningful work is low, automation existed long before I joined but agentic AI and all sorts of development will likely lead to lower FTEs in the near future.
