- Some talented and hardworking employees. - Fast-paced environment can offer learning opportunities. - Mission-driven work that attracts passionate people.

- Toxic leadership culture in certain departments. - Shifting expectations and unclear direction. - Fear-based management and lack of psychological safety. - HR appears aligned with leadership rather than employee support - Little transparency around performance expectations or decision-making. - Burnout is common and often unaddressed. My experience at Natera was marked by high stress and a lack of transparency. Expectations changed frequently, guidance was often withheld, and feedback felt punitive instead of supportive. Despite delivering required work, employees were disciplined or removed rather than coached. Concerns about workload and burnout were not meaningfully addressed, and HR did not feel like a safe or neutral resource. Entire teams were treated as disposable, which created a culture of fear rather than collaboration. There is potential here, but leadership needs to prioritize clarity, accountability, and employee well-being.
