      Pros

      The people at Natera are friendly and dedicated to dominating the cancer diagnostics space just as we continue to do in the prenatal diagnostics arena. It is a really exciting time as we forge into oncology, expanding our product offering dramatically. The camaraderie across teams is a nice retreat from the work for sure; fun outings and a regular happy hours keep us all at our best.

      Cons

      Fast growth leads to the need for more automated internal systems and process improvements. In some areas those can't come fast enough. Additionally, there are so many projects in motion, figuring out how to prioritize is sometimes hard. Catered lunch has gotten very repetitive and while a super perk it would be nice to have more variation.

      Pros

      The technology is awesome. The people are smart and helpful. There is an attitude of making the world better and a patient behind every sample. In order to deal with enormous growth and many challenging projects, management has empowered the project teams to drive their own destiny, with biweekly synchs with senior management. It's a challenging exiting place to manage.

      Cons

      There are a lot of projects going on, all of which are worthy, so it's tough to prioritize. However, I think empowering the teams has done a ton of good and has also made all these challenging projects fun.

      Pros

      I am excited to work here because of three reasons: growth, the people and the culture (1) There are multiple avenues for growth (a) NIPT is poised to explode particularly if avg risk gets adopted more broadly (only 7% or so now) (b) The Carrier business also has lot of room for growth (c) (c) A well rounded IVF offering (d) The company will inlicense more assets to fill the OBGYN reps bags (e) Oncology in the long-term where there is R&D underway (2) People are sharp - Natera succeeds in hiring some really young, bright people - across our commercial team we have many strong general managers who have run even bigger businesses in the past (3) Culture is fast, nimble and almost always with a "yes" attitude.

      Cons

      Hard working place - this is no place for slouches. Also for some people the speed may be too much - but if you are bright and can handle it this is a great place
