Management is horrible!

Pros

The products are useful and help people have healthy children.

Cons

Certain managers bully their subordinates and have no experience whatsoever. There is a lot of micromanaging, which makes for a tense work environment. Favoritism plays a huge part in getting promotions at this company. The people they choose to put in leadership positions have no authority to be there. They have horrible grammar, speech and communication skills. We do not get paid enough for all the hard work we do. The company is extremely profitable and growing like crazy, and yet cannot afford to pay their employees more money. Instead of paying for snacks, catering and TV's they should pay their employees more and provide stock options to EVERY DEPARTMENT. Employees feel unimportant and under appreciated because they are!

Fake reviews instead of actual change? Wow, I'm shocked.

Pros

Paycheck. But I'm looking. Oh, and the product helps people. Hard to notice though when so much other crap is flung at the wall.

Cons

Just notice how many reviews are happening around the same time. I will tell you as someone that works here, I overheard the office bully (one of them) telling people to write positive reviews since so many people have left negative ones. That prompted me to write this warning: any company who doesn't care that people are truly dissatisfied and just want to cover it up with fluff should be avoided like the plague. If I had any time to look for another job, I would. But I'm working so many hellish hours for this place, I have no life. Look elsewhere if you want one.

Natera Response

It's true...we have asked employees to contribute honest reviews, but this does not mean they are fake or planted. People only tend to speak out when they are unhappy and, since the majority of employees are happy and feel fortunate to be at Natera, we would like them to have a voice too. However, as the new HR Manager, I am very concerned that you are unhappy. My door is always open...please come see me and we'll try to find a solution together that makes your career at Natera more fulfilling and enjoyable. If you, in fact, really don't want to be here anymore we can chat about how to juggle job searching and your daily responsibilities so that, either way, we are working together towards a happier you. I promise to keep your identity completely confidential. Our goal is to have a happy and engaged workforce, so please let me know how I can help. - Johanna
