Pros
Everyone is really nice and supportive. Organization is in the middle of a transformation so there’s a lot of exciting opportunities to help increase its impact on the world by modernizing it’s work and products. I am new to the organization and I’ve been very impressed with the care they take to be transparent about the strengths and challenges of the organization and it’s current transformation. Their approach to assimilation for a leader is by far the best experience I’ve ever had in my career in turns of helping me get to know the organization and it’s people.
Cons
This organization is not to be judged by the cover. In many ways, it feels like a 120 year old nonprofit organization. In many more ways it feels like a 120 year old start up. You cannot come in an expect everything to be figured out because we are trying to reimagine it all. So if you’re looking for a large well established feel then this will surprise you.
