Pros

PTO is a big one, (as a QA we did have a pto freeze for about 5 months last year but hadn't had one since)

Cons

No company is perfect, but I can't think of any cons, I work from home

Pros

Good team to work with (the techs... not the management) Other techs are often helpful Knowledge base is sometimes helpful.

Cons

Low paying Physically demanding (you will build TONS of boxes) Management is often iffy and untrustworthy No visible upward mobility Management has favorites Issues tend to get blamed on regular techs and management will NOT take responsibility/ownership You WILL be overworked There is NO standard SLA for business needs. ( ex. you will be held to IT SLA, but will be made to build 100 computers in a week on the drop of a dime because the business wants you to. ) No formal training No overtime pay VERY HIGH TURNOVER RATE Low employee/tech morale No bonuses/ no pay for being on-call

Pros

Very organized and high levels of clarity on scope of work

Cons

No social aspect doesn't want you to talk to other employees at all, you are only allowed to talk to your superior. While in office, it is completely quiet. No team building, spirit, or loyalty built.
