Pros

Claims Managers - 80% are approachable, helpful, flexible and understanding Co-Workers - great we all know how bad our jobs suck so most people are friendly Paid holidays and Vacation is above avaerage

Cons

They literally do not care about claims adjusters. EVERY year or like this year TWICE a year increase work volume by 12-25% and do not compensate adjusters for it (not to mention work load was already impossible to manage prior to this increase) and they make the metrics more difficult to attain each year, which discourages people who actually care about their work quality. Given what I said above they also could careless about their customers. They expect you to be a high functioning robot. I am a hard worker but there comes a point when it’s literally impossible. Seasoned adjusters are crying at their desks or nightly when they leave. The pay would be a pro but it is actually a con they hire kids straight out of college or with associates degrees and most of them get trapped because they can’t leave and make comparable money. Money is not the root of happiness, at least not here. People have left for 10K pay cut or quit with nothing lined up because they physically can’t take the stress any longer. Also, don’t mention how upset you are because you may end up fired for “bad mouthing the company”...and once you are in their crosshairs they’ll find a reason to fire you even if you have been there for 25 years. Imagine the most stressed, frustrated and overwhelmed you have ever been in your life times that by 100,000 and that is how you feel every day (if you care about your work quality and your customers).
