      Very Supportive while going to school.

      Pros

      GMAC was very support while I was going to school. Also, it was not as strict on the tardies as other call centers. They discussed patterns of tardiness.

      Cons

      Opportunities for advancement were limited. A fifty cent raise would have taken me forever to make better money.

      Working from home is somewhat beneficial

      Cons

      Salary and benefits are poor at best. The management at this company is not qualified to run a bowling alley let alone an insurance company. They treat you as if you were a child. One such example is that they track your movement through your company cell phone. Would be better off running a register at 7-11 for minimum wage. At least there you would get competent superious. Also to potential customers you might was well light your money on fire before giving it to them. Awful, ridiculous and pathetic.

      Pros

      The front line people -- very knowledgable and collaborative and willing to work hard to produce the best possible outcomes. The work is challenging and interesting as well.

      Cons

      Upper management and not valuing the front line people who work hard and are committed. Samller company so the risk of alwasy being pruchased by a larger company is alwasy on the radar.
