Pros

Some good benefits and PTO. They provide all equipment and do have ok rewards for being top in the monthly contests. Coworkers are generally very nice and helpful and they are trying to make remote work more of a community by holding a lot of team and cross team meetings.

Cons

Work is very subject to have overwhelming workloads that will often require unpaid overtime in order to not become behind. You will be required to work at least 2 Holidays and multiple Saturdays throughout the year. There is no work life balance. After leaving, I have realize about 90% of the stress I felt day to day was from this job. I was constantly stressed about metrics and the amount of work being assigned. There were multiple days where you would be assigned 15+ claims a day coming in from a weekend when your workload was meant to be set around 8-9 per day. Very focused on metrics and most management cares very little about anything else. Managers and even upper management will try to be your friend and put on a very convincing show to pretend they care about you personally but will immediately throw you to the curb for minor mistakes. They try to instill this sense that the company cares about you but you truly are just a number at the end of the day. Management will also lie about performance reviews saying: ‘you’re the best on our the team’ ‘ you’re one of our top performers’ and advise you to not discuss this with other team members. they don’t want you to discuss this information because they are just repeating the same thing to the whole team. Yearly reviews that are submitted in December and should be completed at the latest by January do not get approved until the beginning of June.

Pros

The team I was on was super helpful. Everyone was able to contribute and learn on the job. It also is a super faced paced environment as my team was adjacent to the call centers creating websites for them and internal teams.

Cons

The downside is the pay and the promotion timing. You could work your butt off but if your manager doesn't fight for you to ge t a promotion it is hard, you essentially have to wait an entire year or the next cycle of reviews. Also, during the time I was there, they had a merge with All-State and we all were supposed to be paid the same level as the All-State folks and we weren't, paid under them. I would have stayed if they had paid me more but they weren't budging on the pay.
