Pros

Decent PTO Plan OK Starting Salary Work/Life balance is treated seriously

Cons

Health plans are expensive, high deductible, and low coverage. A significant portion of my salary goes to health care, between the policy itself and the HSA that they no longer contribute to. Deductible for a family plan is currently $6000 annually.

Pros

Reasonable work life balance if you aren't in a chronically overworked departments, mangers are competent enough to lead projects to completion without unnecessary friction. Technology isn't 100% up to date but does evolve.

Cons

Salary is on the lower end and projects always seem urgent with less than enough to properly complete projects
