Pros

Flexible work schedules in some offices and time for gym is a plus. Beautiful building in DC area. Good benefits. Pay for performance makes salary increases quicker than many other agencies

Cons

Hierarchical leadership structure and work is burdened with bureaucracy. Not many promotional opportunities. Salary for long term employment could be higher but it's regulated by federal policy.
