The challenge of finding the right balance of resource, especially in the current market, is real. Progression into the more senior levels of management is extremely restricted, with more favour being given to some than others.

A lot of layers, typically poorly explained reasoning for items at senior leadership level. Incredibly difficult to get things done quick depending on the situation. Hard to progress upwards as the company seems to favor those who move around over those who become experts in the company. Need to adjust the merit increase system as those who do poorly get rewarded no different then those who should be standing out. Managers are put under a lot of stress and are not compensated differently then individual contributors at higher levels.
