Pros

NI provides an easy transition from college to the professional workforce with a fun and challenging work environment. They hire talented and interesting employees which creates a fun culture.

Cons

Low pay. Limited growth opportunity. Inexperienced management who promote more strongly biased to personal relationships rather than performance metrics.

Pros

The people that work here are top notch, high-quality people. There are definitely opportunities here for those starting their career to grow and gain valuable experiences.

Cons

The culture can tend towards mediocrity at times, especially with those that have been here for a long time and haven't progressed within the ranks of leadership. The company also is losing some of it's lustre as benefits get worse, but salaries stay the same with regards to companies within it's peer group of tech companies in Austin.

Pros

The culture is amazing and the people there are outstanding. NI provides great benefits and cares about career growth opportunities.

Cons

The pay is not quite as high as what you could get in other engineering opportunities. Also, some responsibilities can be viewed as menial when considering the different job descriptions.
